Step one: find an inspiration

So I have been deciding on colors and themes for decorating Hunters room lately. I have been so stress and just haven't been able to find the things that I want to. I have been looking for fabric to make a quilt for his room and hoped that I would find one that I just loved and that inspired me a whole theme and color for his room. Well I have been looking like crazy and just can't find anything that I like. I really like brown and orange and just can't find anything that I like. Well last night I was in bernina and I fell in LOVE.

Dinosaurs weren't the theme that I was looking for, but the colors were so perfect that I just couldn't resist. It was exactly what I was looking for and it was just perfect that I could find nine other fabrics to coordinate just perfectly for the quilt that I want to make.

So now that I am inspired I have to make this inspiration turn into an amazing quilt for my baby boy. So it may take me a long time to get it done, but I am just so happy to have found just what I love that I will work forever just to get it done. So wish me luck and I will keep you updated on how things are going!

Corn Maze and Fall Fun!

I love fall because their are so many great things to do that the kids just love. We went to the American West Heritage Center last weekend and had a great time. The kids just love being outside, so doing just about anything outside they are happy. They had lots of fun on the corn maze and kept occupied husking corn. We had a great day and the weather was just perfect. We look forward to carving pumpkins, the pumpkin walk, and trick or treating. It is a great time of year!


Hunter's favorite part of the whole day was petting those goats. He thought it was the best thing ever.

Hunter's new Hobby

Hunter has been very busy lately. He is always walking around with his golf club and just loves to hit that ball around. He is pretty good and we love to watch him swing and then say "golf". Blair is so proud and hopes that Hunter will loves golfing as much as he does. Although the club has been used in the toilet many times and to hit Brooklyn far too often he does use it to golf pretty much every day all day lately.

Brooklyn's Birthday!

Brooklyn was able to have a great birthday last week and had a great day. I can't believe that she is four. We went to the fun park, opened presents, played games, and ate lots of cake. It was a great weekend and she had so much fun.

Brooklyn is 4!

I just can't believe that my little Brooklyn is 4 today. The time just goes by so fast. She is just such a sweetheart and I can't imagine our family without her. Her are a few pictures of her through her four year.
