Boating at Utah Lake!
Over the weekend we were able to go with my wonderful sister in law Katie and her wonderful parents boating at Utah Lake. Her parents let us stay at their house on friday night and we went boating the next day. We had such a wonderful time and the kids had such a blast. I was a little worried about them having to wear life jackets all day on the boat, but they were very good and I couldn't have imagined the day going any better. We got to go wakeboarding and rode on the tube. Isabel loved the tube and I was so excited that I got up wakeboarding, even if I was only up for a few seconds. All in all it was so great and I really appreciate how wonderful Katie and her Parents are for letting us have so much fun and being so hospitable all weekend. They were great and the kids are already asking when we can go again!

4th of July Fun!
The fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Besides all the good food, playing in the water, the fireworks, the parades, and the music, it makes me feel so incredibly patriotic. I love the pride people feel for our country and those men and women who serve so bravely. It is an amazing time and we had a wonderful weekend. Here are just a few photos from the weekend!

Isabel is 6!
Isabel the morning of her birthday. She was so excited and had such a good day.
This is the cake that she picked out and it turned out so cute.
We got her ears pierced a few weeks before her birthday so that she could get new earrings and change them on her birthday and these are the ones that she chose to wear.
She had a great time opening present and loved everything that she got.
I can't believe how fast these six years have gone. Isabel will be going to first grade in the fall and I cannot believe it. It makes me sad, but I am so excited for her. She had a great birthday and was so good all day. We went swimming, went out to dinner, and had a little party that night. It was a busy day, but we all had a graet time.

Perkes Family Reunion!
This past week we were able to spend some time in a small town called Altamont, Utah. It is about four hours away near Vernal. We stayed in a beautiful cabin with 70 other people and had so much fun. We were able to see cousins and uncles and aunts whom we haven't seen in three years or longer.
We rock climbed, swam a lot, played games, went fishing, canoeing, and making great memories. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful family who I love to spend time with and be around. I am grateful for amazing grandparents who spend so much time and money to make it possible. It was great and my kids will be talking about it for a long time to come!
